DULUTH, Ga. - One Metro Atlanta city is becoming a hero to its sister city.
The mayor of Duluth, Georgia, is leading a drive to collect gloves for Duluth, Minnesota.
It's part of a campaign called "Duluth Matters" and it's all part of an effort to help residents of Duluth, Minnesota, who have been plagued with recent floods. More than 12 feet of water washed through the historic area of the city in June.
Volunteers are helping to restore the area so residents can move back into their homes.
To help those volunteers, our Duluth citizens are donating work gloves for the volunteers. The last day for collection will be Friday, July 20th.
