ATLANTA -- It's an "Eggstravaganza!" -- Easter along with it's eggs are right around the corner and the 11Alive Help Desk wants to help you and your family get out and find some.
If you missed the Atlanta Governor's Annual Easter Egg Hunt, do not worry. There are still Easter Egg hunts all over the metro Atlanta area this spring for you and your family to hop around and participate in.
Up first, is the Callanwolde's Easter Egg Hunt. Bring your Easter basket and join Callanwolde March 30th. Enjoy spring arts and crafts for kids, thousands of candy-filled eggs, Atlanta Braves games and prizes and an opportunity to meet the Easter Bunny.
Tickets may sell out early so be sure to buy your tickets in advance online at Ticketleap. All proceeds benefit the Callanwolde Dance Program. In case of rain or bad weather, the event will be cancelled.
For more egg hunt fun, the Fernbank Museum is hosting a Dinosaur Egg Hunt. Following the hunt, children may also participate in games and giveaways and special exhibitions. This year's event will be on March 30th and will feature eggs, prizes and fun for the family.
Radio Disney AM 590 will be in attendance and Giggy, the dinosaur will be suited up in bunny attire for Easter photos. All egg hunts will take place on the Front Lawn. Space is limited and advanced registration is required to participate in the hunt.
Families are also invited to come out to the annual Easter Eggfest at Mount Paran Church EggFest at the Lovett School on March 30th. There event will feature bounce houses, inflatable games, along with food. The Easter Egg hunt will be divided into 3 age groups for elementary and preschool age children with over 15,000 eggs.
