ATLANTA -- Good news for parents who still want their youngsters to enjoy the summer day camp experience before the school bells ring in early August.

There's still room.

11Alive's Help Desk team has come up with a list of the Metro Atlanta camps that are still available.

They range from all the way from specialized sports, to the sports they will be watching in the Olympics, and on to fine arts, jewelry making, photography, and singing.

The YMCA Day Camps are offering swimming, soccer, horseback riding, tennis and basketball in 17 different locations, all in the Metro.

At the Callanwolde Fine Arts Center, on Briarcliff Road in Atlanta, specialized camps range from art and singing, to jewelry making and metalsmithing. Also being offered, photography and dance.

At Georgia Tech, sports camps are still available for volleyball, softball, baseball, girls' basketball and cheerleading.

Also, be sure to check out the day camps run by the various counties throughout the State.

Gwinnett County, for one, has a variety of day camps still available in nine of its county parks.

Our Help Desk Team has assembled a list of available camps.
