Vidalia Onion Burger
An original recipe by Ray Lampe, Dr. BBQ

2 pounds ground chuck
1 Vidalia onion, sliced thinly
Barbecue rub
6 full slices pepper jack cheese
6 hamburger buns
6 pieces green leaf lettuce
6 slices tomato

Prepare the grill to cook direct at 400º. Form the beef into 6 equal size thick patties. Press a few rings of the onion firmly into both sides of each burger. Season the burger liberally with the barbecue rub. Place the burgers on the cooking grate and cook for 5 minutes or until well browned. Carefully flip the burgers keeping the onion intact. Top each burger with a slice of the cheese and cook for another 4 to 5 minutes until they reach an internal temperature of 155º and the cheese is melted. Carefully remove the burgers to a plate. Top each bun with a piece of lettuce, then a burger and finally a slice of tomato.
Serve with Coke® Zero for vibrant tastes.

Chicken Wings with White BBQ Sauce
An original recipe by Ray Lampe, Dr. BBQ

Always use whole fresh chicken wings for great grilling results.

10 whole fresh chicken wings
Barbecue rub
1 cup mayonnaise
¼ cup white vinegar
¼ cup sugar in the raw
1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Prepare the grill to cook indirect at 350°. Cut the tips off the chicken wings and discard them. Slash the skin on the inside of the joint. Season the wings liberally with barbecue rub. Place the wings on the grill and cook for about an hour or until well browned and cooked through. While the wings are on the grill, make the sauce by mixing together the mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar in the raw, horseradish, salt, and pepper. Once the wings are done, transfer them to a deep dish or a large bowl. Pour the sauce over the wings and toss well to coat. Transfer to a clean plate and serve with celery sticks. Serve with Coke® Zero to bring out the best taste.
