HONEY CURRY MEAT MARINADE
Meat of your Choice (6 pork chops, 6 chicken breasts, steak)
3 Slices Cooked Bacon, diced (or about 1/2 C. Bacon Bits)
1 Cup Finely Chopped Onion
2 Cloves Garlic, minced
1/2 Cup Soy Sauce
1/3 Cup Lemon Juice
2 T. Honey ( I like to add more of this ingredient)
1 T. Curry Powder
2 tsp. Chili Powder
1 tsp. Salt
If you are using real bacon, cook that up and then dice. Then, since you have the stove on you can saute the onion and garlic with the bacon. Throw that cooked mixture into a bowl and add all the rest of the ingredients. If you're not using real bacon....all you have to do is throw all the ingredients into a dish, mix and pour over the meat of your choice. Let this sit overnight in the fridge. That way all the flavors can marry together nicely! When you go to grill make sure you save all the marinade to brush your meat frequently while cooking. There you have it! ORANGE SUMMER SALAD
1 Small Container Light Cool-Whip
1 Small Container Low-fat Cottage Cheese
1 Large Can Mandarin Oranges - Drained
1 Small Can Crushed Pineapple - Drained
1 3 oz. (small size) Orange Jell-O
In one large bowl throw in all the ingredients and mix together! Put in the refrigerator to chill a bit before serving! This can be also be used as a delicious dessert. If orange isn't your thing, go ahead and mix it up with another jell-o flavor and fruit! Enjoy...the Meals in a Rush way!
