Falling trees and heavy winds cause power outages

ATLANTA -- Georgia Power Friday morning there were 980 customers without power around metro Atlanta.  Statewide there were 2,200 customers without power.

Most locally were in Gwinnett, Duluth, and Jonesboro. 

Georgia Power says outages are mainly due to high winds and trees falling on powerlines.
