Showers and a few thunderstorms today. Light to moderate showers will begin during the morning, but the bulk of the heavy rain, and thunderstorms will hold off until noon to 8pm. There is a small chance for a few strong storms with wind gusts up above 60mph, and lots of lightning, and a possible tornado, in southern Georgia. High temperatures Thursday will be around 60 degrees. Winds will also pick up this afternoon from the southeast around 10-15mph with gusts up to 25mph.
Decreasing clouds tonight and breezy with winds from the west around 15-20mph and gusts up to 30mph. Overnight low temperatures will be around 30 degrees.
After the front pushes out it will leave much cooler temperatures and gusty winds in its wake. High temperatures for Friday will only be in the mid to upper 40s with NW winds around 15-25mph, gusting at times up to 40mph. This will make wind chills in the morning feel in the upper 10s to low 20s. In the afternoon, the wind chill will likely be in the low 30s at best.
The weekend will be nice with sunny conditions and temperatures closer to normal in the low to mid 50s for Saturday, and mid to upper 50s for Sunday.
