Wow!! What a storm!! The folks that estimate damage from hurricanes are saying that this storm could be a $20 billion storm once it is all said and done! From NYC flooding, to Atlantic city taking the eye of the storm, to the 2-3' of snow in the WV mountains, this storm had it all! Down below is a series of pictures I have compiled on this storm, I will continually update the pics as I get them into the weather center, so check back to the blog often.
Our Local Weather
For us we are going to continue to see a lot of wind and cold temps tonight.. The good news is that the wind advisories and high wind warnings will all expire later tonight at 8pm. What this means is that temps will get a bit colder tonight than they did this morning. What will keep us from freezing is the cloud cover that we will have, that will trap in some of the heat that we had during the day today, not that there was any heat, but it will keep us from freezing. Tomorrow we will see less wind and more sunshine, thus temps will be a bit warmer and it won't feel as cold, highs will hit the lower 60's tomorrow afternoon. As we head into the weekend we will see a nice warm up with temps making it back into the 60's and 70's by Friday.
