The new list of popular passwords compiled by SplashData looks at passwords both online and on gaming systems like XBox Live or the Playstation Store. The most common password out there is -- get this -- "password".
Other popular passwords are equally obvious, and include things like "qwerty" -- which are the six keys across the top row of your keyboard starting at the upper left.
Some common names (i.e., Michael and Ashley) made the list. "Dragon", "Ninja", "Jesus", and "ILoveYou" made the list as well.

If you're using one of these passwords, the best advice is to get rid of it and change it out right away. Hackers look to lists like these as first choices when they start trying to pick away at your password.
