(USA Today) -- "Disappointment is opportunity in disguise."

I can't remember whether that's Shakespeare or something I read in a fortune cookie, but it's solid advice. Lavoy Allen of the Philadelphia 76ers knows what I'm talking about.

After Mitt Romney lost Tuesday's presidential election, Allen, one of the few NBA players to publicly support the Republican candidate, sent a flirtatious tweet to actress Stacey Dash. The Clueless star was also a Romney backer lost amidst a sea of Obama supporters, so maybe Allen was hoping mutual political isolation would lead to a torrid red-state love affair?

@REALStaceyDash don't worry we will get through this together, if you need a shoulder to cry on I'm only a phone call away

I know this may not appeal Allen's politics, but that's some Bill Clinton-type smoothness there. I don't know what Allen's voice sounds like, but given that he went to Temple and plays for the Sixers, I'm guessing it's like that guy with the really deep voice from Boyz II Men who always started sentences with "baby."

By the way, Stacey Dash is 46 -- double the age of the recent Temple graduate.
