(WXIA) -- Ten million sets of eyeballs will be watching the Super Bowl February 2. Advertisers can't pass up the chance to pitch to that many people, so it's going to cost them. The costs are increasing at break-neck speed. 

A 30 second ad in 1967 cost $293,000. We broke the $1 million mark in 1985, the $2 million in 1999, and the $3 million in 2009. There are reports Fox could be pulling in $4 million this year.

To get more bang for those huge bucks, the leaking of Super Bowl ads long before the game is now part of the process. 

It's been 60 years in the making, but on Sunday, February 2, beloved M&M'S Brand character Yellow will finally get his moment in the spotlight.

Axe's Super Bowl ad, "Make Love Not War" is one of the big productions this year.
