ATLANTA -- Parents can now see how their child's school fared on the latest round of Criterion-Referenced Competency Tests.

"The best news in the 2012 CRCT report is that more of our students are exceeding the standards," State School Superintendent Dr. John Barge said in a statement last month.

Statewide, students did better compared to 2011.

"Results also showed a one-year improvement in the percentage of students meeting and exceeding on 20 of the 30 content-area tests," Department of Education spokesman Matt Cardoza said in a statement.
