ATLANTA -- Investigators of the Atlanta Police Department, along with Crime Stoppers are asking for help from the public to identify two armed robbery suspects.

Gregory Lyon of the APD reported that two suspects robbed a victim at gunpoint on February 13, around 12:20 that afternoon. The incident happened at 1960 Perkerson Road, in the Sylvan Hills neighborhood.

The victim, Nasar Iqbal, is responsible for picking up and delivering money for ATM machines. During the robbery, the suspects stole $20,000 in cash - $4,000 of which was demanded when Iqbal was held at gunpoint, along with his car, a black Nissan Quest. The vehicle had $16,000 inside, which was also stolen.

Police later found the vehicle nearby, but no cash was inside, Lyon said.

Iqbal described the first suspect as a black male of light to medium complexion, 25-35-years-old, standing between 5'8" - 5'9" tall, with a thin build. He is clean shaven, and was wearing a sweatshirt that was either yellow, brown or tan, and a baseball cap.

As Iqbal told investigators, the first suspect was carrying the weapon used in the robbery, a small silver handgun.

The second suspect is described as a heavy set black male, with a round face and dressed in a black shirt, according to Iqbal.
