ATLANTA -- A man was arrested Wednesday in connection with a teen's murder on New Year's Day.
Ronnie Clay Jr., 38, was charged with murder in the death of 18-year-old Jared Billings.
Billings was found at around 9 a.m. on Jan. 1 in a house on Epworth Street, according to Atlanta Police spokeswoman Kim Jones. He had been shot in the chest and was pronounced dead at Grady Memorial Hospital.
Clay is being held without bond in the Fulton County Jail. He will have his first court appearance at 11 a.m. Thursday.
