Michigan murder suspects arrested in Atlanta

KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Atlanta Fugitive Squad arrested suspects who were wanted for murder in Michigan.

According to Captain Victor Ledbetter of the Kalamazoo Investigations Division, an Open Murder warrant was signed on December 14 after a two month investigation, for the 31-year-old who Killed Jheryl Wright. Wright was murdered on September 30 in Kalamazoo.

Also, investigators issued a warrant for another Kalamazoo resident, 30, who they say was responsible for a September 29 shooting in Kalamazoo. This incident happened three hours before Wright was shot, Ledbetter said.

A hearing for the arrested suspect is being held on Wednesday in Atlanta, on the suspects' extradition back to Kalamazoo.
