Anthony Bethea Jr. (Fulton County Jail)
FAIRBURN, Ga. -- Police have arrested a murder suspect after a body was discovered near some woods in Fairburn Sunday morning.
Anthony Bethea Jr. was arrested early Monday and charged with murder. He is being held without bond in the Fulton County Jail.
The body was discovered at around 11 a.m. Sunday behind the Efficiency Lodge on Senoia Road, not far from Interstate 85.
Fairburn Police spokesman Sgt. Anthony Bazydlo said a tipster called 911 to report a strange smell. When investigators arrived, they discovered the body.
The victim was later identified as 26-year-old Darrell B. Bailey II of Fairburn. His cause of death has not been released.
