ATLANTA -- Atlanta Police have named a suspect in a June murder in northwest Atlanta.
According to police Investigator A.C. Smith, 20-year-old Gevonte Mapp is wanted in the fatal stabbing of Kelvin Moss on June 5.
Smith said Moss was stabbed at a home on Cairo Street. He managed to get into his car and drive from the house, but was later found dead behind the wheel, not far from the scene.
Mapp is described as a black man, about 5-feet-6-inches tall and 155 pounds, with medium skin. He was last known to wear his hair in twists.
Anyone who sees Mapp or has any information in this case is asked to call Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-8477. Tipsters can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a $2,000 reward.
