WINDER, Ga. -- The City of Winder Police are searching for three men suspected of committing an armed robbery on Wednesday in Winder.
Police say a one-year-old baby was in the arms of the victim during the crime.
Nicholas Williams and an unidentified black man entered an Apperson Drive apartment that belonged to an acquaintance of Nicholas. The men talked among themselves, then the unknown suspect pulled a gun, pointed it at the victm's face, and ordered Williams to restrain the victim with duct tape, according to police.
William did not restrain the victim, but searched the home while the other suspect held the victim at gunpoint.
The two men fled the apartment with $1,100 in cash and the victim's mobile phone.
Police said the victim was holding the infant at the time of the robbery, and tried to chase the suspects but could not keep up.
The victim saw the suspects leave in a four-door light grey car, and get away in high speed. The driver of the car has been identified as Antonio Lemont Cain.
Williams, 23 has been charged with armed robbery, two counts of aggravated assault, cruelty to children 3rd degree, and use of a weapon during the commission of a crime.
Lemont Cain, 33 has been charged with party to the crime of armed robbery after being identified as the person driving the getaway car for Nicholas and the other unknown male.
All three men are still at large.
Williams is believed to be staying in the Atlanta area in an attempt to avoid capture. Williams is also wanted in connection to a strong arm robbery that occurred in Winder on 07-29-12.
