GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. -- A Johns Creek hair salon owner has been charged with the boating deaths of Griffin and Jake Prince.

The young Buford brothers were killed in a boating accident on Lake Lanier on June 18. Nine-year-old Jake died right away. Divers combing the lake found 13-year-old Griffin's body nine days later.

He had previously only been charged with BUI, while the D.A.'s office gathered evidence in the case. The Georgia Department of Natural Resources conducted the investigation because the crash happened on the lake; they turned all their evidence over to the D.A.

Bennett has an arraignment hearing scheduled for October 1, according to the Hall County Clerk's Office.
