3 Forsyth County men charged with robbery

HALL COUNTY, Ga. -- Three men face one count of robbery each, without incident, and are in the Hall County Jail.

Investigators arrested Cody Pierce Copp, 19, Roger William Brumbelow, 24, and David Paul Nance, 24, in connection with a Northwest Hall County robbery.

Sheriff's Deputies responded to the 2600 block of Dawsonville Highway in Gainesville on Monday, July 9, regarding a report of a robbery. Upon arrival, the victim told deputies that two men exited an SUV from behind him and approached his vehicle while it was stopped on East Sardis Road at SR 53. The victim said the two males assaulted him and stole an unidentified amount of cash before they fled.

According to the victim, he followed the SUV to a Knight Road residence before reporting the crime. Investigators responded, and rushed to the residence with Forsyth County Sheriff's Deputies. The victim then identified three subjects involved in the robbery.

The victim sustained minor injuries during the altercation, but declined medical treatment.

The Hall County Sheriff's Office is still investigating.
