ATLANTA, GA -- Sometime Saturday morning, vandals heavily damaged an Edgewood Avenue bar called Church. The bar, decorated with art that its creator calls a "celebration" of Jesus Christ, has a slightly twisted take on Christianity.

Owner Grant Henry says the vandals, who destroyed windows, art work and other property, appeared to target the bar because of its theme.
The popular bar is located a block south of historic Ebenezer Baptist Church, and is close to other historic churches in the Sweet Auburn district east of downtown.
Henry and volunteers spent much of the weekend repairing the damage.
