  • COLLEGE PARK, Ga. -- James Donald White is 11Alive's Fugitive of the Week for February 24, 2012. White, age 30, is wanted by the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force. White has outstanding warrants in Clayton County for Aggravated Assault, Armed Robbery and Burglary.

White and three other people are charged in connection with a home invasion in College Park on December 4, 2012. The four forced their way into the home of White's ex-girlfriend on Kingswood Circle and were armed with handguns.

White's former girlfriend, Kenyatta Warren, told 11Alive News that they were demanding money. One of them, who she knew as a cousin of White's, pointed a gun at her while she was holding her daughter. "And they just placed a gun in my stomach in front of my daughter and counted down from five, and I thought I was going to die," she said.

Warren said she still doesn't feel comfortable living in her College Park home, because she's afraid he might come back. She said she is thinking of moving out of state. "I'm scared for my life," she said. "You never know what they're going to do."

Deputy U.S. Marshal Eric Heinze said Warren's aunt, who was in the home during the robbery, decided to take a chance and threaten the suspects. "She decided to pick up the phone and advise the suspects that she was going to call the police," Heinze said. "The suspects got scared and fled the residence."

Heinze said White has an extensive history of violence and should be considered armed and dangerous. "We haven't had any reports of where he may be but through our investigation we still believe that he's in the Atlanta or possibly Conyers area," Heinze said.

Now White is somewhere he doesn't want to be. He's at the top of 11Alive's Fugitive of the Week list on Rowson's Crime Scene. If you know where he is call Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-TIPS(8477). You can also email the U.S. Marshals from the link on our web page.
