Crews work on Mecaslin Street

ATLANTA -- Neighbors who live near Mecaslin Street behind Atlantic Station would like to see things moving again, both above ground and underneath the street.

For the past few weeks, the City of Atlanta's Department of Watershed Management has been working to replace a sewer line on Mecaslin near Bishop Street.

11Alive viewer Ron Grunwald has contacted the City on numerous occasions requesting project information and safety precautions in the work zone. But Ron says his many messages are falling on deaf ears.

So he contacted 11Alive's Commuter Dude for help.
