Water coming from roof of 200 Peachtree
For three years, tenants of historic 200 Peachtree have been dealing with a pesky water leak on adjacent Ellis Street. The leak, which tenants say has eroded the pavement below, is also a winter hazard due to icing. For a long time, it was assumed that the water was leaking from a nearby hydrant. But after building tenants contacted 11Alive, we asked the City of Atlanta's Department of Watershed Management to investigate. The City discovered that the water is actually coming from the roof of 200 Peachtree. So, we set out to resolve the problem by contacting the building's manager.
