Target is offering free credit monitoring for all of it's shoppers, not just Target cardholders.
The move comes in response to the revelation that the recent security breach may not be limited to just Target Debit and Credit card holders, but also to anyone who has shopped at the retailer in recent years.
Here's how to get it: Go to creditmonitoring.target.com and enter your name and email address.
Target will send its shoppers an activation code for free credit monitoring for a year from Experian as well as a free Experian Credit Report.
After a year customers have the option to continue credit monitoring at their own expense. Experian's credit monitoring service costs $15.95 per month.
