ATLANTA --  The traditional kickoff the to the Holiday Season may be Black Friday, but some retailers are counting on early bird shoppers to get into the spirit days beforehand. announced it will begin featuring Black Friday Deals on Monday, November 19th, four days before the traditional day after Thanksgiving shopping marathon gets underway.

And Atlanta's Lenox Square plans to open at midnight Thanksgiving night for the first time ever.   In previous years Macy's has been open but not other stores in the mall.  Lenox Square has not yet announced the specific stores that will open at midnight.

Traditional Brick and Mortar retailers are also expanding their price matching policies in hopes of discouraging "showrooming," the practice of browsing in a store but then ordering merchandise online at a lower price.

Target says it will provide free Wi-Fi in stores so shoppers can compare prices.  Target, Toys R Us and Best Buy all plan to  match competitor prices in stores and online, although there are several exceptions.  For example, Best Buy will not match competitor prices during the Black Friday Weekend.  Target and Walmart don't match Doorbuster specials.

Walmart matches prices in stores but has not yet announced whether it will match online pricing this season.

Shoppers may want to print out the various policies to bring to the stores with them to avoid confusion at checkout.
