We confront Dr Michael Stanley Johnston about his role at a local pain clinic.

TUCKER - For the second time in a week DEA agents have raided a suspected pill mill. This time it's because of a month long investigation by our Center for Investigation Action which had one under surveillance at the La Vista Office Park in Tucker, Georgia.

We've had an undercover producer inside, at The Georgia Health Associates Pain Management Office. On Monday night at 11 you'll see our undercover investigation that exposes what was going on. However, after showing our undercover video to officials, DEA agents decided to swoop in today.

"We're going to be aggressive and take these pill mills out of business," said DEA Agent, Chuvalo Truesdell, when asked about the problem in Georgia.

"Is that what this is?" I asked.

"Again there's no secret as to what might be going on here but because it's an ongoing investigation, I can't comment, "Truesdell said.

When DEA agents moved in this morning, nearby office workers applauded. A month ago those workers had complained to 11Alive to get something done because they feared for their safety. They complained about addicts sleeping in their cars outside the clinic and urinating in the lot.

The pain clinic is suspected of illegally dispensing prescriptions for powerful narcotic pain killers to feed the addictions of patients who came here from out of state.

The doctor on site, Dr Michael Stanley Johnston, an Atlanta pediatrician, who'd opened up here in the last 7 month, wrote prescriptions for powerful painkillers for our producer, even though our producer said he was in no pain. He never saw that producer either.

"You're lying," he said as we confronted him today.

He was not held by DEA agents but he and his group are still under investigation.

Into the evening, drilling could be heard from inside the pain clinic, as a locksmith tried to get into the safe, in what was a cash only business.

Monday night at 11 you'll get an inside look at what was going on inside the Georgia Health Associates Pain Management Office. Join us and follow along with an undercover producer and hidden camera video to see how it all went down.
